In his former student job as beer delivery man at a brewery in Western Jutland he liked talking with many different people during the workday. When studying finance, he found that he could combine his ability to talk to all types of people with his analytical and financial knowledge. He can therefore create value for our production customers ranging from smaller heating plants to larger power producers.
- I have worked for Energi Danmark since 2013 starting as Student Assistant, and from 2015 as full-time employee helping our energy-producing customers optimise their earnings. I often draw on my analytical knowledge from my Cand. Oecon studies when advising our production customers about the market development and opportunities.
- As an Energy Risk Advisor, it is my job to advice our electricity producers and optimise their earnings in the power market. On a day to day basis, I am in contact with many different kinds of customers as for example wind turbine owners, heating plants, waste incinerations and our central power plant. Besides that, I am handling the hedging of green certificates for our producers and consumers.
- I value the varying workday; you never know what kind of opportunities that turn up during the day. In a department with daily customer contact, every day is different. The social relations are also important to me, and I have many great colleagues across the organisation.
- When not at work, I like to spend time with my family. In January 2018, I added the title dad to my CV so right now I have enough on my plate at home.
One of our large production customers, KARA/NOVEREN benefits on a daily basis from the close contact with the customer department. See the interview with Plant Manager, Niels Kallehauge.
