Once again, there was no end in sight to the price falls in the system futures in the Nordic region last week. All of the most frequently traded contracts continued downwards, and the crucial factor is still the weather forecasts. The end of November will likely bring twice as much precipitation as normal and, as the temperatures will remain high, there are also prospects of low consumption. As a result, both the Q1-21 and YR-21 contracts have experienced further price falls and now cost EUR 14.60/MWh and EUR 14.45/MWh respectively. On the other hand, the EPADs, especially in Denmark and Southern Sweden, are experiencing soaring prices.
