Senior Energy Risk Advisor, Claus Holck Hertz, helps the customers make the right decision by giving them strategic and individual counselling about their energy consumption. His finest task is to communicate his knowledge about the energy market, and make the, at times, abstract world of energy trading more tangible to the customers. He explains that specialised knowledge about the energy market is the most important expertise, when working with energy consultancy:
“The best thing about my job is actually when the customer meets me with a natural skepticism. Then I get the opportunity to use my knowledge, and together we can find the right solution for the customer”.
Claus works as Senior Risk Advisor for various large industrial production companies and public organisations in Jutland, Denmark. He visits customers on a daily basis and helps them find the tailor-made solution that is the perfect fit for the particular company.
“You have to be able to understand what that particular organisation’s needs are, and be good at reading other people, so that you are able to tell which specific kind of information the customer needs, and how you should communicate it, to make them understand the big picture”, says Claus and continues:
“The most important part of my job is to give the costumers a sense of security, and the best way to do that is to show them that I know what I am talking about. It is crucial that they have trust in me, otherwise they will not sign a contract with us.”
